what you can expect from us- a timeline

All that is required of you is a suitable space; a quiet area, out of the way from a lot of foot traffic. 

The initial setup takes under an hour. 

We recommend placing the hive on top of a building, out of the way, but still accessible to people, allowing them to watch the bee’s progress. Rooftop gardens and courtyards are great places; as long as the space gives the bees an easy get away and is relatively quiet, as we want to minimize a lot of people getting up in the bees business.

Mason bees are great company, they are non aggressive and it’s very rare that they bite. We want to make this a learning experience for people who frequents your space. 

Our goal is to make this an inviting, interactive, and educational experience.

BizzBuzz will place informative plaques around the hive to educate people on the importance of native bees and the impact that the bees we’re placing in the area will provide. So, we encourage choosing an area that people can visit and check-in with the progress of the bees. 

We will place some greenery and flowers around the hive, beautifying your space, and luring people to trickle in to observe the bee’s progress and learning about it also. BizzBuzz uses native plants and flowers, ensuring that the bees have access to their necessary nutrition. 

Throughout Spring and Summer, we will conduct any maintenance, which includes checking on the health of the hive and environment, and sustaining it.
